Key Responsibilities – Databricks Data Platform & AI Solutions

• Design, develop, and optimise end-to-end data pipelines and platforms using Databricks on Azure and other leading cloud services.
• Lead and contribute to the architecture of advanced analytics, machine learning, and data engineering solutions that deliver measurable business value.
• Collaborate closely with clients, stakeholders, and multidisciplinary teams to understand business requirements and translate them into robust Databricks solutions.
• Act as a technical mentor and advisor within Evidi, fostering a culture of learning and innovation around Databricks, Spark, and cloud data technologies.
• Evaluate, introduce, and document new technology trends, ensuring secure, scalable, and high-performing solutions.
• Guide clients in the adoption of best practices in Databricks data engineering, governance, and advanced analytics.
• Ensure seamless integration with other cloud technologies such as Azure Data Factory, Synapse, Power Platform, and support ongoing digital transformation efforts.

Required Skills and Experience – Senior Databricks Consultant

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or equivalent professional experience.
• Proven track record with Databricks platform including data engineering, Spark, and advanced analytics on cloud platforms (preferably Azure).
• Experience in designing, implementing, and optimising scalable data pipelines and architectures for complex business challenges.
• Strong proficiency in Python, SQL, PySpark, and knowledge of related Azure services (e.g. Azure Data Factory, Synapse Analytics).
• Hands-on experience with machine learning and AI concepts, and deploying these in production environments.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to present complex topics to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Strong problem-solving capability, structured work approach, and a self-driven mindset.
• Fluent in English (knowledge of a Scandinavian language is a plus).
• Willingness to continuouslyising learning, wellbeing, and growth.
